What made you start the band?
We were on a concert of a band we really liked. We saw the people dancing and singing and we decided that we want to do the same: Being on stage, performing our own songs and celebrating the shows with our fans.!

How long have you been playing instruments?
We started playing instruments in an early age. Jo started to play piano with the age of 6, fabi started playing trumpet with the age of 5 and mäx also used to play piano for a short time. We learned to play the band-instruments at the same time we started the band.

Favourite song to play live?
Wow, that's difficult, because we love every single song. But especially live "Springt hoch" and "40 Tage 13 Stunden" rocks the shit.

What do you do after a concert?
We use to relax and take a shower. After that we like to write autographs for the fans.

Where do you see yourselves in 10 years time?
We see ourselves on the stage. That's our life. We hope to play a sold out europe-tour and of course we hope to play some shows in the uk. Music is our life and we won't stop it.

What are you fans like?
our fans are the craziest, most beautiful and lovely persons we know. they do so much for us and support us in every way they can. this means so much to us. without our fans we wouldn't be able to live our dream and we know this. we love them from the bottom of our hearts. we have many girls as fans but many boys listen to our music too and get crazy on our shows. that's amazing. we make no differences between fans!

What do you think of Tokio hotel?
Tokio Hotel is a great band. Tokio Hotel and Killerpilze created the "New wave of young german music". These guys deserve every inch of their success. They work as hard as we do and we like the music. Both bands have a different style of music, but there's nothing like a competition or anything. We respect each other and we like to hang out ..show-parties and to visit concerts of each other.

What clothes do you wear to sleep?
Find it out...;-) Boxers!

What is your favourite english word?
puhh, that..s difficult. we like "awesome" maybe...;-)

Are you all single?
yes, we are all single. unfortunately. it is not possible to have a girlfriend, because were always on the road and we have so much to do. but were still searching and maybe we will find our dreamgirl in the uk. we heard that there are great girls.

Whats better, a smart girl or a hot girl?
the mixture of course.;-)

Who is your favourite band/artist at the moment?
We have many favourit artists: Die Ärzte (from Berlin, Germany), Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds To Mars, Thrice, Beatsteaks, Metallica, Justin Timberlake, Amy Winehouse, Bullet for My Valentine....

If you were on a desert island, who would you eat first?
Sand...

Do u have any phobias?
Yes, Jo is afraid of small and tiny rooms and fabi is scared of snapes and spiders...digusting!

Who is the laziest in the band?
Mäx. Of course! He sleeps all the time and loves it to do nothing and simply hang out.

Would you date a fan?
yes, of course, if she is the right one. but she has to understand that it's not easy to date a guy from a famous band...

What do you think about the UK Street Team owners, Laura and Paige?
we can’t say how proud and grateful we are. it..s amazing that laura and paige came up with the idea of a uk-streetteam. this is really amazing. we hope that everything is working well and more and more fans go to our official-uk-site and become real fans of killerpilze. your promotion means so much to us and we hope you keep up this great work.
